## What happens next

Five steps from the first call to your Golden Visa application. Your own lawyer checks every document before you sign.

Identity and source of funds. Greek anti-money-laundering law (Law 4557/2018) requires the banks, notaries and lawyers involved in a property purchase to identify every buyer and check where the money comes from. You will be asked for a valid passport and for evidence of the source of your funds, such as bank statements or records of a sale, salary or inheritance. Having them ready keeps the purchase moving.

Under current guidance, new Golden Visa applications by Russian and Belarusian nationals are suspended.

### A call

A video or phone call with Spyridon Kotsalidis, Founder and CEO of TPL S.A., to answer your questions and match a residence to your plans.

### Reservation

You reserve a residence in writing. The terms are set out before you commit.

### Due diligence by your lawyer

Your independent Greek lawyer checks the title, the permits and the draft contract, and can obtain your Greek tax number and bank account under a power of attorney.

### Deed

You sign the notarial deed, in person or through your lawyer, and pay the full price into TPL S.A.'s Greek bank account named in the contract.

### Application

Once the change of use is completed, your lawyer files the Golden Visa application and you attend once for biometrics. The Ministry of Migration and Asylum decides.
